So, the first Response to Course Material is up. Can you guess where? I bet you guessed right, it's under the Responses to Course Material page! Go check it out and see my progress from what we have covered in class so far!
I liked both the poems we read also. I know we've read those poems before in other classes and it's nice to get a better look at them.
I personally think that the essays are so different and harder from the ones in APush. I feel like that "So What?" question was never asked of us in APush, and I don't know if for that classes purposes that it needed to be, but I understand why it is here. I'm glad your having a bearable transition in form :) haha.
You really touched on most every element we covered in class, so great job with that! I have never written an APUSH essay before though, so i can't relate to whether those or harder or easier. I agree though, that having the idea of TAP does help me stay focused on the goal. I feel like my ideas are more concise. I also agree that it was very interesting to learn the length definition of poetry. I had never thought of it that way either. I wonder what else this class has in store for us! Good Job!
